Calan Williams has secured his first F2 Championship points with a P5 finish in the Saturday Sprint Race.

In only his second Formula 2 event and his first time at the challenging Jeddah circuit, Calan Williams has delivered an outstanding qualifying performance to be P7.

Calan Williams and Trident are ready to go for Round 2 of the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship at Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia.

In his debut Formula 2 Championship event, Calan Williams put himself in contention for the podium in Sunday’s Feature Race before an unfortunate pit stop incident cost him making his run in the last 4 laps.

Experiencing qualifying for the first time, and still learning the warm up procedure and adapting from the hard tyre in practice to the soft, Calan has put together an excellent result for Round 1.

Calan Williams is looking forward to making his FIA Formula 2 Championship debut in Bahrain this weekend
