Calan Williams has commenced the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint event at Misano successfully with Pole Position in class.
He also qualified P5 overall of the strong field of 35, so will start Race 1 from that position with a lap time of 1:31.880.
The qualifying session was held in darkness under lights and followed a strong two Free Practice sessions for Calan and the team.
Co-driver Sam De Haan also qualified well in the second session, and will start the second race under lights from P2 in class.
Race 1 commences at 2pm local Italy time,with Race 2 starting at 9pm.
