Calan Williams and Niklas Krutten secured an impressive P2 for Gold class in Race 1 at Misano. The result was also P11 in a field of 41 including 15 within the Pro category.
Qualifying was a challenge with all of the BMW's struggling in the conditions at the circuit with Krutten qualifying P25 and P4 in class. None of the four BMW's were inside the top 20.
Krutten started the race and was very impressive fiughting through the field and moving the car up to P18 and P3 in the Gold class.
WRT once again performed a brilliant pit stop with Calan and Krutten also exceptionally quick for the driver change.
Calan then followed Niklas' good work with exceptional pace and overtaking to move the car up to the finishing position of P11 overall and P2 in class.
Qualifying 2 and Race follow today at 9am local time and 2pm respectively (3pm and 8pm WST).
