GTWC Sprint Cup Brands Hatch Timetable and Coverage

Calan Williams will this weekend make his debut in the GT World Challenge Sprint Cup, teaming up with Niklas Krutten in the number 30 WRT BMW M4 GT3.

Sprint events consist of two 1 hour races with a compulsory driver change at the halfway point. Both drivers qualify during a session each to set the grid for eacvh of the races.

Huge crowds are expected to attend the event and at this stage fine conditions are forecast across the weekend.

This will be Calan's first time at the Brands Hatch circuit, and he is throughly looking forward to the opportunity.

“After starting the season off well with a podium at Monza, I’ll be looking forward to continuing our strong form at Brands Hatch. Being a sprint event, it’ll be a different challenge than the endurance race of last event, but I’ve been working hard on my preparation and can’t wait to be back on track,” said Calan.

“Brands Hatch is a new circuit for me, and has the characteristics and challenges of a traditional British circuit, which I’m sure will make it an exciting one!”
