After a very early morning start and bus trip with the team across to Belgium, we are now all set to go for Friday practice tomorrow at Spa.
The facilities here are absolutely incredible, and the track is simply amazing. Even though I heard many times it said that you cannot pick up the scale of gradient change on television, it is still far more hilly than you think. Eau Rouge, with the steep downhill approach from turn one and then the sharp rise up just looks breathtaking.
It was a pretty solid walk around the 7.8km circuit, and it was great to go through all the fine details that we have prepared for over the past few weeks with my race engineer Tom Toovey.
Looking forward to a nice early start tomorrow, and an exciting day of practice ahead of the weekend!
