With no race scheduled in the WA Formula Ford Championship for October, things have been pretty quiet on the track. I’ve just had the one relaxed session on track early in the month just getting some laps in to stay sharp. Off the track there’s been plenty happening however. I’ve been putting in a lot of work in the gym, at F45 Hillarys and boxing with Adam Wills which has my fitness feeling great.
I am very excited about the month ahead. My fitness work will continue, however soon it will be back to the track with practice sessions planned with Brett to prepare for the final round of the Formula Ford Championship. Race day is Nov 19, and if the racing this year so far is anything to go by, its going to be a massively exciting finish to the season!
Then, on Nov 27, its off to Queensland to meet up with the team at Gilmour Formula 3 Racing, for my first testing session in a Formula 3 racing car.
Exciting times, but the important thing is to focus on what is immediately ahead – a boxing session with Adam – followed by a thorough preparation on the track for Round 7 of the Championship.
