3 Practice sessions were scheduled for Friday, however when we arrived at the track overnight rain had left the circuit damp. From Friday only Championship issued tyres can be used which meant that the first set we used would need to be new. As a result we elected to sit out that session as did the majority of the teams.

In FP2 we pushed on the new set initially and found a second from yesterday. There was more there though as some others found more, so that was valuable experience for qualifying. I finished P10 for the session.

For the remainder of the day we worked on our race set up and tyre management which is going to be key here. The combination of factors has meant that tyre degradation has been very high. However our work during the day has left us in a good position to manage this.
