An exciting day of practice today at Monza, as we run through our own final program of testing, and also we had a taste of what to come with the tactics associated with drafting over the weekend.
In Free Practice 1 we started the session on a used set of tyres, before switching to a single set of new. The session was hectic and I was really pleased to be able to position myself well and set a 1:43.0 which was P6 for the session. Times were very close, and we are very confident with the balance of the car on the new tyres, so we are feeling very good about the weekend.

In the Free Practice 2 we ran used tyres to replicate the race conditions and complete a long “race run”. Once again all went well and we were again very happy with the car under these conditions.
More fine weather forecast for the weekend, so can’t wait to get qualifying underway first thing in the morning!
