Today we had Free Practice 1 (FP1) and FP2.
FP1 went really well with us starting the session on used tyres, before coming in to switch to our first new tyres run of the weekend. I managed to post a P7 time which was a solid result and good preparation for Qualifying later in the day.
In FP2 we took the opportunity to run on older tyres to test the balance of the car in a race situation and we were happy with how that all progressed.
Later in the day we had Qualifying 1 which determined the grid for Race 1 tomorrow. We started the session on used tyres and then made an early stop to switch to new. I was pleased with my flying laps and managed to take P7 again in a very tight field.
Tomorrow with have Qualifying 2 first up (for Race 2 grid), and then straight in to Race 1 and 2.
