Immediately following the completion of the Euroformula Open race at Monza on Sunday, we travelled by car up across the border into Switzerland where Jenzer Motorsport are based. Here we have been meeting with the team and going through preparations for the 3 days of Official FIA International F3 testing in Valencia 20 – 22 October.
It has been great meeting with the team and we have a very good feel straight away. I am enjoying putting some of my German into practice which I have been teaching myself for a while now!
First we focused on getting my seat fitted and everything correctly set up for me in the car.
The car itself looks fantastic, and quite a lot bigger than the F3 I have been used to driving, so another key will be to get used to the extra weight once we hit the track for real.
Now a day off doing a bit of training and then having a look around Switzerland, and then we start to make our way back down to Italy to catch a flight across to Valencia in Spain for the testing.
