We are very proud to announce that the partnership between Edith Cowan University and Calan Williams has been expanded for his competition in the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship.
Since 2016 Edith Cowan University have played a significant role in Calan’s racing program, not only as a sponsor, but also through access to incredible expertise that the University can provide, particularly in the areas of nutrition and physical preparation.
Senior Sponsorship Coordinator Cassie Lister said, “ECU is proud to continue its support of Calan in 2020 as he embarks on this exciting stage of his racing career. The partnership provides ECU with a unique opportunity to gain exposure across WA and key international markets and promote its course offerings, research expertise and key events to a targeted group of followers. It also opens up possibilities for ECU researchers in the areas of sports science, psychology and nutrition to share their insights and expertise to contribute to Calan’s program and his personal development.”
“I am really pleased to be working closely with ECU, and whilst back in Perth, I am very much looking forward to catching up with Dr Therese O’Sullivan and Prof. Tony Blazevich as I continue to refine my nutrition and physical preparation”, said Calan.
“I am also looking forward to other opportunities to develop which we have planned in the next year”.
