Calan Williams is confirmed to be competing in the F3 Euroformula Winter Series with Fortec Motorsports commencing mid February.
The Winter Series consists of a 2 day official Euroformula Open test on 15th and 16th Feb at the Spanish F1 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain, before heading to Calan’s first international race meeting at Circuit Paul Ricard in France, the venue of this year’s French F1 Grand Prix. The Winter Series then rounds off with another 2 day offical test at Jerez back in Spain.
All Euroformula Open teams will be taking part in the Winter Series, and Calan will represent Fortec along with Romanian driver Petru Florescu and American Yves Baltas.
Calan will leave Australia to base himself in the UK early in February, and will spend a number of days each week at the team base in Daventry training and practice on the state of the art simulator in between the scheduled testing and racing.
