I am very excited to announce that I will be driving for Fortec Motorsports in the Euroformula Open Championship. I am very appreciative to Mick Kouros and all of Fortec for the faith they have shown in me to give me this amazing opportunity following my Winter Series program with them. At this stage we have confirmed the early rounds of the Championship whilst we continue to build our growing backing with the objective of competing in all rounds on the 2018 calendar.
Competing in the official Winter Series races and testing with Fortec, as well as some extra testing we have completed has been a chance to experience new tracks, generally with many more high speed corners than I had experienced before, and also in particular utilising the tyres to their full extent. With Mick’s guidance, and through working very closely with my engineer Tom Toovey and the rest of the team, I feel that I have been developing quickly. The Winter Series has been an intensive program, and as a result, I feel prepared and ready to go for Round 1 at Estoril in just over 2 weeks.
This is a big step forward for my career, and I want to acknowledge and thank my team of supporters who are investing in my racing, and of course my sponsors Lazersafe, High Energy Services, Rosehill Waters, ES2, The Wealth Designers, Edith Cowan University (ECU), Kingsway Community Bank Branch, Rvend Vending Machines, Grand Toyota Wangara, Fullworks Fire Safety, Inspired Insurance Services, Online Logistics Solutions, Signarama Joondalup, Focused Recruitment, F45 Training Hillarys and Trizone Fitness.
I can’t wait for Round 1, and with the Euroformula Open Championship fully televised and streamed online live and through replay, it will be great that those at home and those who have been following me from other parts of the world will be able to watch.
