Early this morning the F3 cars were the first out in track for our first practice session and my first time at the circuit. Silverstone is a great track to drive, with incredible speed through the fast corners, such as taking turn 1 (Copse) flat, and yet also requiring precision through the slower corners at the same time.
After a two month mid season break, I was pleased that my training and preparation meant that I was able to start strong finishing P6 for that first session, on used tyres with some above on the timesheets on a new set.

The second session started well again, but unfortunately in around the third lap the car developed an issue which became progressively worse until forcing me wide off the track and into the pits at the end.
Whilst a frustrating end to the day, the car is completely ready to go again now, and I am feeling confident and ready to go for Qualifying in the morning.
